Newaygo Invasive Plants Project is in desperate need of volunteers to help look for and pull garlic mustard in the next couple of weeks. It's easy to do, not strenuous, and the hours are flexible. We have an organized pull scheduled for Diamond Lake County Park on Saturday May 16 from 10-12. There is a lot of garlic mustard there, and it is easy pleasant pulling. We have places to pull closer to home. Henning and Riverside Parks in Newaygo need work and Andersen Flats, at the end of Felch has a pull scheduled for next Tuesday, the 19th from 5pm to 7. We can also make ourselves available if you have someone that needs more hours or can't fit our organized pulls. For more information, contact Mrs. Pregitzer at 834-8515, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
